AP AD is Acoustics and Design and was founded on a fundamental ethos of passion for acoustics, design, and architecture. AP AD collaborates with owners, end users, architects, engineers, and designers to deliver high performance spaces for the most demanding applications. We develop practical, cost-effective, and innovative strategies to address simple and complex acoustic challenges. We pride ourselves on combining an open-minded approach and cutting-edge expertise, to work creatively and collaboratively on a design team to consistently achieve the best outcomes.
AP AD was founded in 2025 by principal, owner, CAO Adam Paiva after 18 years of experience working with several of the largest and most well regarded firms in the acoustic consulting world. This experience covers the full spectrum of acoustic consulting. We have worked on large scale and fast-paced projects with world-class architects. We have worked on small boutique recording studios for Grammy winning musicians. We have worked as in-house consultant on the client side and understand the full picture of operating a company and how the physical space, and acoustics, fits in to the big picture. We have worked pro-bono on local projects that we care about.
